Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking to hire a driven, proactive, and results-oriented Sales Executive to support revenue growth and business development at GMC Place Kitengela. The role is responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, managing client relationships, promoting GMC’s hospitality and event offerings, and converting leads into confirmed business. The ideal candidate will actively engage with corporates, groups, institutions, and individual clients, representing the GMC brand professionally and ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the sales process.   Responsibilities
  • Identifying and developing new sales opportunities across corporate, social, and group events.
  • Actively promoting GMC’s products and services, including conferences, events, hospitality offerings, and leisure facilities.
  • Generating leads through cold calling, referrals, site visits, activations, and social media engagement.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Conducting client meetings and site visits to understand customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events secured through sales efforts.
  • Maintaining accurate records of leads, prospects, and clients using approved tracking tools.
  • Working closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collecting customer feedback and sharing insights with Management to support service improvement.
  • Participating in promotional activities, activations, and brand visibility initiatives.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Preparing and submitting daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity and performance reports.
  • Ensuring professionalism, compliance, and adherence to company policies at all times.
  • Carrying out any other related duties assigned from time to time.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field (mandatory).
  • Bachelor’s Degree or professional certification in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • At least two years’ experience in a sales role, preferably within hospitality, events, real estate, or service industries.
  • Experience in customer relationship management and lead conversion.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
